 Our low-stress GentleSteps training method focuses on reducing anxiety and helping your dog to understand their boundaries while allowing them to enjoy their yard! During our initial training session with you and your dog we will work to condition a response to the beep and form an association with the boundary flags. We do this and then slowly increase the correction by small increments so as to use the minimum amount of correction that will still be effective for your dog. We have a strong focus on minimizing any anxiety in your dog during our training process. Once we complete the initial training, you will keep your dog on-leash for about one week and regularly go through short follow-up walks to reinforce the principles established in our initial session. For our Premium system, we guarantee our training and there is no charge for follow-up training visits if necessary. 

 Our Indoor system is every bit as effective as our outdoor system, but operates on a slightly different principle. The indoor unit is designed to customize areas of the home for your dog to avoid rather than contain.

 Pet Stop receivers are resistant to moisture, so it’s okay to keep it on while bathing your dog, or if they get wet in other ways such as during a sudden rainfall or an occasional swim in the lake. Keep in mind that our receivers are only water resistant and not waterproof. If excessive exposure to water occurs, you should remove your pets receiver collar. – Dishwasher top rack safe.  

You'll never have to buy batteries for your collar!  In most cases, the battery lasts up to a month between charges. Of course, when the battery runs low, Pet Stop’s Flash Alert.® lets you know when it’s time to put the collar in the charger. 

All you’ll need is wire installation to fence in the boundaries at your new location.  Because you already have the equipment, the cost is a fraction of what a new installation costs. 

 Regardless of the type of driveway you have, we simply use our concrete saw to clean out a natural expansion joint and insert the wire 2″ deep and re-seal the joint.

If your driveway has no joints we will make a fresh clean cut where you instruct us to and seal it.

If you have a drainage pipe or culvert under your driveway, we can use that instead of making a cut

 We recommend approximately 3-4 months with an average pup or a little younger with more hearty pups. Pet containment systems can really solidify yard edge avoidance when trained right and trained early.
